Go hands-free with voice
Speak your messages and have replies read back to you.
You don't have to type. NUFI can transcribe what you say into the message box (speech-to-text) and read replies aloud (text-to-speech) — handy on the move or for accessibility.
What you'll need
- Speech enabled for your organisation. (If the controls aren't there, ask your admin.)
- Microphone permission in your browser — it'll ask the first time.
Steps
Start or continue a chat.
Use the microphone control in the message box to dictate. Your speech is transcribed into the box as you talk.
Review the transcribed text, then send it as usual.
Turn on read-aloud to hear replies spoken back to you instead of reading them.
If your deployment offers a choice, pick a voice or speech engine in settings.
